FAQ biscuits

We are now offering the option of Click & Collect from our Melbourne kitchen located in Altona North. You can select this as a shipping option during Checkout.

If you choose to collect directly from our kitchen, you’ll receive an email to let you know your order is ready for collection. Once you receive this email you can collect your order anytime during our opening hours below: 

Monday – we 9:00 to 17:30
Tuesday – 9:00 to 17:30
Wednesday – 9:00 to 17:30
Thursday – 9:00 to 17:30
Friday – 9:00 to 17:30
Saturday and Sunday – Closed

As each biscuit is hand-cut, baked and iced, it can generally take up to 7 business days to have your order ready for postage. Please check the notice on the Face Biscuits tab to determine when your Face Biscuit will be dispatched. From then, it depends on your postage choice ‘(Standard or Express). If your order is urgent, please email us and we’ll do our best to help!”

Our biscuits will stay fresh for 4 months from bake date. All of our biscuit tins have a ‘Best Before’ date label, and will have a shelf life between 2 weeks and 4 months.

We recommend keeping your delicious biscuits in their tins to keep their freshness and in a dry and cool place.

Biscuits: Flour, Sugar, Butter, Eggs, Vanilla, Cocoa Powder. 

Royal Icing: Pure Egg White Powder, Icing Sugar, Food Colouring (Australian Approved).

Please note your biscuits contain Egg, Gluten and Dairy products. Our biscuits are made in a kitchen in which we also prepare lots of yummy treats that include nuts, peanuts and sesame seeds.  

Our biscuit flavours include Vanilla and Chocolate biscuits – and allspice during Christmas. Stay tuned for more exciting flavours to come!

Our tins have set flavours and can be identified in the FLAVOUR section of each Collection.

Unfortunately, for the time being, we do not offer Vegan or Gluten Free options. But don’t worry, we’re working on it!

Absolutely! We take customer details and privacy very seriously and do not provide this information without direct permission. Additionally, as many of our products are treated as gifts, we never include receipts/invoices with our packages. All order information is sent through email.

We pride ourselves on the security and packaging of our biscuit tins. Each biscuit is securely ‘glued’ with royal icing to each layer of padding within the tin. If your order has arrived damaged, please contact us at hello@theconfectionist.com.au with your order number and a few images so we can help you as soon as possible.
